Date

In the current new cycle of economic development, “new quality productive forces” is seen as the key to high-quality, sustainable development. China’s furniture industry is accelerating its transformation from “manufacturing” to “creating,” from “speed” to “quality,” and from “products” to “brands.” Steadily advancing with an inclusive approach, a vision of continuous innovation, and the strength gathered from unity, the expo embodies the commitment to long-termism and value return through “Quality,” “Beauty,” “Material,” and “Intelligence.” This approach serves as a powerful response and industry mission to an era marked by both challenges and opportunities.

A major highlight of the Furniture China 2024 is the concentrated display of Chinese original furniture brands. This event showcases the transformation and rejuvenation of established brands, as well as new faces in design, materials, and business models. These brands will focus on new consumer demands, launching a plethora of new, high-quality, popular, and trendy products. The expo will fully demonstrate innovation and vitality in production, original design, lifestyle aesthetics, brand value, and cultural expression.

A key feature is the special exhibition “China Brand Exhibition,” which emphasizes design, quality, and innovation. Furniture is used as a core medium to convey Chinese cultural concepts, with thematic areas such as “Heaven and Earth,” “Friends,” “Nature,” “Life,” and “Reunion.” These themes will tell contemporary Chinese stories to the world through the voice of brands.

Additionally, 5 country pavilions from France, Belgium, Singapore, Malaysia, and Turkey will participate. Exhibitors from 25 countries and regions, including Italy, Germany, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, the UK, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Australia, the USA, Brazil, Japan, South Korea, India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Hong Kong S.A.R. and Taiwan, China will also bring fresh perspectives and diverse styles. This international presence will showcase a blend of Eastern and Western craftsmanship and home art, highlighting timeless and exquisite designs.

The expo aims to create an innovative service platform linking design and commerce, introducing a new business model for original design. The event will also feature the “Return! Design Business Exhibition”, an integrated show of office commercial designs, interior designers, brands, and original designs. This exhibition will connect architects, interior designers, and brand projects, forming a commercial loop from design to project and back to design.
