The first edition of China International Furniture Expo (also known as Furniture China) was co-hosted by the China National Furniture Association and Shanghai Sinoexpo Informa Markets International Exhibition Co., Ltd. in 1993. Six major overseas country pavilions from France, Belgium, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, and Turkey, featuring 146 international exhibitors, made a significant impact. Notable brands such as Grosfillex, Fermob, Miyazaki Chair Factory, Ligne Roset, Sifas, Boori, SERIP, and many more were among the participants.
