China now offers visa-free entry to travellers holding ordinary passports from Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Australia, Poland, Georgia, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia.
Moreover, Shanghai also grants 72 hours/144 hours visa-free transit to eligible international travelers.
